Glass Casting Workshop (Lost Wax Technique)

During this 2 1/2 day workshop you will learn the art of lost wax casting, mould making process, kiln loading and firing and simple finishing techniques to lead crystal glass. This course is suitable for beginners with no glass experience and more advanced glass workers.

Rubber Mould Making using Re-usable Rubber
 

Rubber is a fantastic moulding tool enabling you to reproduce found items or man-made items. Di Tocker of dicastglass will be teaching this exciting new workshop using a rubber product that can be heated again and again using a household microwave. This course will be a 1 day workshop.

Wax Modeling Techniques:
During this 1 day workshop you will learn techniques to allow you to make the most of wax as a modeling material. You will learn tricks and tips on carving blocks, joining, pouring and forming sheets and melting work.
